Frequently Asked Questions
You have questions and we have answers!
Guiltless Glass Recycling
The short answer we can accept any glass bottles and jars you buy at a grocery store. The longer answer is we can collect any beer bottles, wine bottles, liquor bottles, jars that contained jelly, jam, mayo, ketchup, salad dressing, etc., candles in glass jars, and anything you would buy that contains food or drink. We can NOT accept crt glass (computer monitors, televisions), light bulbs, mirrors, or ceramics. If you have any questions, ask us at info@guiltlessglass.com! Spoiler alert: we are looking at ways we can help you recycle hard to recycle materials, so this list is subject to change!
We are currently servicing Brookhaven, north Buckhead, Chamblee, Doraville, Dunwoody, Embry Hills, East Cobb, Oak Grove, Sandy Springs and the surrounding neighborhoods. If you are outside of this area and can get 10 neighbors to join, then we will add you to our service area. And we will cheer for your incredible recycling efforts! Please feel free to email us at info@guiltlessglass.com if you would like additional information.

No. You do not need to wash the glass or remove any labels or lids. You do not need to sort the glass by color.
Leave it outside. When you signup you will tell us if you will leave your recycling bin on your front porch or on the side of your house. Your bin needs to be accessible from the street and should not be stored behind any gates or fences on collection day.
We will come once a month and will notify you the day before as a reminder. Stay tuned for future options for more frequent pick ups. In the meantime, you are welcome to order multiple bins from us - the more bins the merrier!
The weeks we will be collecting glass are highlighted in green on the calendars below.
